HIGH LOAD AND CAPACITY
SOMMER TGL is a closed body with a light construction. It is available for most vehicles in the commercial vehicles segment up to 7.0 tonnes. The optimized lightweight design made of plastic panels reduces the body mass by up to 25 percent. For the customer it means higher loading capacity and lower fuel consumption.
SOMMER TG bodies offer a load volume of up to 38 m³ depending on the length and width of the body. Standard equipment with steel boards on both side walls provides adequate load securing. The SOMMER TG is also available on request with the patented SOMMER SALS® load clamping system.
STEEL CONSTRUCTION
The strong steel structure of the frame ensures stability and the use of fire-resistant zinc guarantees long-term corrosion protection.

Standard equipment includes a roof made of reinforced plastic that transmits daylight to the interior of the body.
The steel boards for securing the load mounted on the side walls are the basic form of cargo securing. Many other options are available on request.
The stainless steel fittings on the rear doors ensure high functionality and low maintenance costs throughout the life of the vehicle.
In light bodies, TG SOMMER offers many variants of self-loading platforms of leading manufacturers, i.e. Dhollandia, Bär, Dautel and Sörensen.
